Robert Senica has over 13 years of work experience in banking, commercial activities, and finance. He started his career at Banka Celje in 2000. Between 2007 and 2013, he held various management positions at Hypo Leasing, including Manager of the Celje unit, Director of Sales, and Authorised Representative. Since January 2013, during the period in which the banking industry has been faced with numerous challenges, he has been acting as the President of the Management Board of Poštna banka Slovenije (PBS), with his responsibility being crisis management, market repositioning of PBS, and the management of its 242 employees. The Nova KBM Management Board will now consist of three members, with Robert Senica taking over the responsibility for the Bank´s commercial activities.
Based on the decision of the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia, adopted in the meeting held on 8 July 2014, Robert Senica was granted the Bank of Slovenia licence to hold the office of member of the Nova KBM Management Board, thereby meeting all formal and legal requirements to start working at Nova KBM. He is expected to take up his new role on 1 August 2014.
